学習者同士のコミュニケーションを重視した
多読教育を支援するWebアプリケーションの開発

論文要旨

本研究では学習者同士のコミュニケーションを重視した多読教育プログラムを支援する環境を提案する． 外国語Reading教育である多読教育において，本について学習者同士で議論するというコミュニケーションを導入することで，同じ本に対する他の学習者の価値観に触れ，本についてのより深い読解を達成することができる．このような，学習者同士のコミュニケーションを重視した多読教育が提案されていたが，この教育を支援する環境が存在していなかった．

本研究で開発したシステムでは，学習者同士のコミュニケーションだけでなく，学習者と本との出会いを支援し，達成状況をまとめることで，学習者自身の目標設定や学習者の評価も可能にするなど，多読教育全般を支援する環境を実現した．

また多読教育プログラムを実現されたことで，教育プログラムそのものを見直すことが可能になった．その結果，学習者が自分の読みたい本を見つけられないという問題が明らかになった．

そこで，学習者と本との出会いのプロセスについての仮説を立て，学習者が読みたいと思う本と出会えるようにする工夫を考案し，適用した．これにより，システムだけでなく，教育プログラムの改善が行われ，教育効果を高めることができた．

Abstract

I have developed a computer that supports the which was propsed by Mr. Mizuno, lecture in English at SFC. By introducing students into extensive reading project, they can touch with other students values through reading other's essay on books they read. And they can deepen their understanding of books. There was no system to support this kind of extensive reading project until my development.

The System which I developed totaly supports this extensive reading project. The System supports not only students communication but also contact between student and book and to check one's achievements.

By realizing this extensive reading project with system support, we found the problem that our project could not support students to find a book which they realy wish to read.

Therefore, I proposed a process that solves how student can find books they want, and I improved this extensive reading project and it's educational effectivety.
